Direct from Italy, this world acclaimed exhibition from the II Genio de Leonardo da Vinci Museo brings to life Leonardo’s genius as an inventor, artist, scientist, anatomist, engineer and architect.
Leonardo is well-known as a painter. You may be able to see his two famous works, "Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper" (thanks to the movie "Da Vinci Code", most people heard about it). This exhibition will also includes the new and revealing Secrets of Mona Lisa exhibit from Paris.(above picture, taken from their website here)
I like the "Vitruvian Man" especially this one that shows measurement units.For me, I like to see his inventions. He was way ahead of his time. Discovery Channel's "Doing Da Vinci" showed 6 episodes on a team of expert builders who tried to construct Armored Tank, Siege Ladder, Scythe Chariot, Machine Gun, Self Propelled Carts and Catapult using only materials available in Da Vinci's own time. It would be fun to see these inventions live, and try to recall how Flash and his friends built these things.
